Blanket Making & Annual Summer Picnic

​Alpha Theta sisters made tied fleece blankets for the little learners at the Medina Head Start site at our recent summer picnic meeting.  We were joined by Head Start providers who gave us a glimpse into what the blankets mean to the young students.  

Everyone enjoyed a delicious lunch and good conversation as our Co-Presidents kicked off their biennium!

Officer Installation and margaret hoch memorial scholarship awarded

​Alpha Theta members enjoyed a morning of fellowship while also celebrating new officers and this year's Margaret Hoch Scholarship winner.  Pat Turner and Christina Unger were installed as Co-Presidents - a "first" for Alpha Theta chapter.  Samantha Haley, a senior at Lockport High School accepted the Hoch scholarship as she prepares to attend St. Bonaventure University to pursue her Childhood Education degree.  Congratulations to all!
